Our Partner Teams

Quicksilver Swimming is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible.  We were founded in 2011 by Andre Sallas Cuhna and Liv Weaver since then our team has tripled in size! QSS fills the need for competitive swimming, healthy performance, and masters swimming. We salute our swimmers for the excellent job they have done in and out of the water. The motivation shown in the pool has inspired us to fight harder to keep this team moving forward and to overcome any obstacles.

We have come a long way from our humble beginnings, and we are committed to raising our performance level across all age groups. Reflecting on previous years accomplishments we have had:

  • Olympic Trialists
  • Pacific Swimming Record Holders
  • New QSS team records across all age groups and
  • We have sent college freshmen to swim at Cal, USC, Indiana, Alabama, and many other distinguished schools across the country.

Quicksilver-Santa Cruz is a Bronze Level USA swim team with many great successes both in and out of the pool. QuickSilver swimmer Morganne McKennan picked up the team’s first ever Olympic Trial cut in 2016. Three swimmers earned Junior National qualifying time standards. Out of the pool, QSS achieved Level 2 status in Club Recognition, which recognizes clubs for their business organization, coaching development, swim performance and parent involvement. QSS also achieved a Bronze Medal in the Club Excellence program, which recognizes QSS as an elite, nationally ranked swim program

With the structure and partnership of Quicksilver Swimming and Quicksilver-Santa Cruz, Beaches Quicksilver is starting off with amazing opportunities for our swimmers and community.  We hope to create our own recognized program in Florida and work with the community for better training facilities and lesson programs, in addition to continuing to fostering our current programs and coaching philosophies.
